Overview
PostMesh Social ("PostMesh," "we," "us") provides software that lets a business connect its own social media accounts and publish content to them from a single dashboard. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create a PostMesh account, we collect your name and email address.
Connected platform credentials. When you connect a social media account (such as Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, or others we support), we store the access token or credential needed to publish on your behalf, exactly as granted through that platform's own authorization flow. We do not receive or store your primary password for any connected platform.
Content you create. We store the posts you draft, schedule, and publish through PostMesh, along with basic metadata about each post (which businesses and platforms it targeted, when it was sent, and whether it succeeded).
How we use information
We use the information above solely to operate PostMesh: authenticating you, publishing content to the platforms you've connected, and showing you the status of your posts. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your connected accounts or content for any purpose beyond what you've directly asked PostMesh to do.
Third-party platforms
PostMesh connects to third-party social platforms (including but not limited to Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Meta's platforms, TikTok, X, and YouTube) using the authorization method each platform provides. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Disconnecting a platform within PostMesh revokes PostMesh's access to it going forward.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account information and post history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we store. As with any software, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we continue to improve our safeguards as PostMesh grows.
Children
PostMesh is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as PostMesh evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
